After a long day of traveling and sight seeing, we forgot to find a place for dinner before heading to the hotel. We were happy to find Phoenix City was not too far away and that they were willing to host us at a late hour. We decided to get take out instead so not to keep them open beyond their hours but if we could have done it again, we would have loved to have had dinner there before going to the hotel and bringing home the leftovers.

We ordered a variety of dishes to feed 12 adults and several kids. And we were so amazed by how delicious each dish had been. Each one had their own distinct taste. No dish tasted like the other. Even two fried rice dishes were completely different from each other and each so tasty.

I'm sure everything on the menu is wonderful as everything we ordered was fantastic.

We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, bbq pork, Szechuan chicken, salt and pepper cod fillets, beef broccoli, green bean eggplant, sizzling beef, sautéed Chinese broccoli with garlic, spicy shredded pork with buns, house special fried rice, and a chicken fried rice.

Everything was really really amazing. It wasn't just because we were really hungry because the next day, we were still raving about how good it was as we ate more from the leftovers.

The only thing we didn't get to try was the Peking duck, because by that time of day, they had already sold out.

I'm back in California now and I wish had a big plate of Phoenix City in front of me. Until next time Portland.... I don't recall ever having such amazing Chinese food even in the Bay Area.

Neglected to take photos of the food but I did take a paper menu with me that I can share here.

Dine in or take out, you will really enjoy and hostess is friendly!

If you are looking for a place that serves good salt and pepper squid, this is one of the best ones in town! I've come here multiple times and each time I've ordered the salt and pepper squid. Each time it tastes just as good! Honestly love most of their dishes that I have ordered but my other favorites besides the salt and pepper squid are their sizzling beef and pea spouts sautéed with garlic.

The portion sizes here are pretty big and great for sharing. So if you order 2 dishes for 2 people that is plenty. If you get 3 dishes for 2 people, you will have left overs to bring home. This place is awesome for people that are trying Chinese food for the first time because their whole menu is all in pictures! I'm a visual person and I really enjoy looking at their menu! Super easy to order and you know exactly what you will be getting cause honestly it looks just like the photo when the dish comes out!

This place has better service than the other Chinese restaurants around town. And the wait time is not bad at all.

One of the better Asian restaurants in Portland! I really like how there are pictures associated with every item on the menu, makes ordering so much easier. I get the salt and pepper squid every where I go and theirs is one of the best in town.

The last time I came here, we arrived around 10pm, 30 minutes prior to closing and did not feel rushed at all as the employees hang out after and eat. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, spicy shredded pork with buns and spicy pig ear. None of the dishes come with rice, you have to ask. All came out within a reasonable amount of time, but we were also only one of the two parties there. The portions are big, we finished the calamari and the six buns with plenty of spicy shredded pork left over.

We came here yesterday for dinner and did not leave with an empty stomach!

This used to be the OM Seafood Restaurant, now PC Seafood Restaurant. The restaurant serves many authentic Chinese dishes that you cannot find at your typical place (depends who you ask). The place was packed with families and elderly people. What's nice about this place is that they also have pictures for those not sure what to order. The food quality here was pretty great with reasonable prices. The service was also pretty quick for how packed the place was. This place definitely reminds me of my travels when in another country.  We had 9 entrees...some of the stand out includes - roasted duck, steamed chicken, sizzling beef with mushrooms (assorted mushrooms), green beans (mixed with pork pieces and pickled veggie pieces), and a few other dishes that I do not know the English names.

Each dish was well prepared, tasty and distinct. Service was very personable and friendly with good suggestions. Hot and sour soup the best we've had in town, and the calamari was perfect!
